HARD CHROME
Our special surface treatment is always used when a longer service life of the products is required.
The layer thickness of 5-15µm is necessary for workpieces that are exposed to low mechanical stress. In addition, materials are mainly used in dry areas.
A higher chromium thickness of 20-50µm improves the protective effect against strong mechanical stress as well as the corrosion-resistant properties.
In addition, there are chromium values above the listed layer thicknesses, which in our case are up to 300µm.
